A criminal case has been opened against Andrei Korobka, the vice-governor of Kuban. This was stated on April 7 by a representative of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation in court during a hearing on an anti-corruption lawsuit.
"A copy of the resolution on the initiation of criminal proceedings against Andrei Nikolaevich Koroby has been attached," RIA Novosti quoted the representative as saying.
On April 6, the united press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory reported that the Leninsky District Court of Krasnodar had seized the Box's property in connection with an anti-corruption lawsuit. Together with the official, 20 individuals and three legal entities are defendants in the case. The cadastral value of the assets listed in the lawsuit is estimated at more than 10 billion rubles, and the market value is several times higher.
The prosecutor's office of the Stavropol Territory reported on March 31 that in Yessentuki they demanded to recover more than 100 million rubles of unconfirmed income from the former official. It was established that the senior state inspector of the State Construction Supervision Inspection Department of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of the Region had acquired property worth over 101 million rubles over 19 years of service.
