More than 200 families will move to historical houses renovated in St. Petersburg

Major repairs of three historical buildings will be carried out in St. Petersburg. After its completion, 227 families will move into these buildings. The work will be carried out within the framework of the Affordable Housing program.

The city Housing Committee said that one of the facilities is the Kondratievsky housing estate on Kondratievsky Prospekt. The floors and roof of the house were restored, staircases were repaired and the foundation was strengthened. The building was redeveloped, after which the apartments had separate bathrooms. As a result, the number of residential premises was increased by 30%. Historical details, such as solid larch doors, were preserved during the renovation.

Another object is the famous Benois house on Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt. The facades of two wings have been repaired there, and now they are engaged in waterproofing the foundation and building a blind area. Inside the house, the foundation was reinforced, the engineering networks were updated and the floors were replaced.

The overhaul of the historic "K. E. Sievers Cottage" on Stachek Avenue is coming to an end. The stucco molding was restored on the house and the engineering equipment was replaced. 60 families will be able to move into it, writes 78.ru .
