The American arms manufacturer Raytheon has received a contract worth $709 million for the production of ammunition for France, Germany and other US allies. This was announced on March 6 by the Agency for Security Cooperation (DSCA).
"Raytheon Co, Tucson, Arizona, has received an indefinite contract for an amount not exceeding $708,939,863 for the production of batch No. 12 of small-sized second-generation bombs and test equipment," the publication says.
The agreement provides for the supply of military equipment to a wide range of foreign countries. In addition to France and Germany, the list of recipients includes Belgium, Canada, Finland, Italy, Norway, South Korea and Switzerland.
