The scammers began sending notifications to summer residents informing them of urgent fees for infrastructure repairs, cutting down trees, and paying off existing debts. The press service of the Moshelovka platform of the Popular Front shared this on April 7.

"Scammers send fake notifications on behalf of the board of the SNT (in messengers or by SMS)," RIA Novosti quotes the text of the message.

The staff clarified that the number was forged on the chairman's contacts. The press service added that new fraudulent schemes often appear in April.

It is clarified that the start of the holiday season and preparations for the May holidays allow for a sense of renewal, but at the same time creates an ideal atmosphere for intruders amid the height of the declaration campaign, seasonal inspections of gas equipment and frequent booking of tickets. Moshelovka strongly advises checking incoming information personally with the chairman of the cooperative.

Kaspersky Lab, citing data from its own experts, reported on April 6 that scammers began to lure out Russian phone numbers through false mailings from hospitals and polyclinics. The purpose of scammers is to obtain users' phone data in order to use it for various attack scenarios.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
