All the miners who were trapped underground in a mine that was de-energized due to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were evacuated. This was announced on April 6 by the head of the Lugansk People's Republic (LNR) Leonid Pasechnik.

"All the miners trapped underground in the de-energized Belorechenskaya mine have been evacuated and are safe," he wrote on the MAX messenger.

According to the report, rescue and repair crews managed to restore power supply and raise workers to the surface. The beekeeper noted that none of the miners were injured, and no one needed medical help.

On the same day, the first deputy chairman of the regional government, Yuri Govtvin, announced that the miners of the Belorechenskaya mine in the LPR had been lifted to a safe height. According to him, constant communication is maintained with the miners. The regional authorities plan to restore electricity to the facility in the afternoon, after which all workers will be brought to the surface.
