AvtoVAZ explained the appearance of the redesigned Lada Niva Bronto

The unusual Lada Niva Bronto SUVs that took part in the AvtoVAZ event in Tolyatti are not mass-produced. These are show cars in bright colors, designed to celebrate Niva's birthday. This was reported to Izvestia on April 6 by the press service of the automobile company.

"These are VIS-Auto's Niva Bronto show cars in experimental colors, specially prepared in honor of Niva's birthday. The samples are not serial," the company's press service explained, noting that there are no plans to release a serial version yet.

The redesigned Lada Niva Bronto differs from the current version in the design of the radiator grille, which has lost the Lada logo and received an integrated Bronto inscription, other bumpers and visible bolted wheel arch linings instead of a hidden one.

AvtoVAZ organized an off-road rally in honor of the 49th anniversary of the start of production of the Lada Niva model last weekend. The event was attended by Maxim Sokolov, President of the company, Igor Zaretsky, Director of Quality at AVTOVAZ, and other senior and middle managers. The first production car, the VAZ-2121, rolled off the assembly line on April 5, 1977.
