In the Russian Federation, there will be no six-day working weeks for workers on schedule 5/2 this year. This was announced on April 6 by Igor Balynin, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Finance at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

"In 2026, according to the production calendar for citizens working on a five—day work week, there will not be a single period equal to six consecutive working days," he told RIA Novosti.
