Russians can apply for sick leave, even if they are not ill, if they need to take care of sick relatives or during quarantine at a company. This was announced on April 6 by Artem Sayevsky, head of the RUDN University's Personnel Training and Development Department.

"The legislation provides for a number of cases in which Russians can apply for a "sick leave" without actually being ill. A disability certificate can be obtained in the following cases: the need to take care of a sick family member or quarantine the insured person himself," Saevsky said in an interview with RIA Novosti journalists.
