US President Donald Trump's actions in the Middle East have dealt a heavy blow to the European Union (EU). The Atlantic magazine wrote about this on April 5.

"For America's European friends and allies, the war with Iran has turned into a major strategic blow. <...> The Iranian war helps Russia (financially and psychologically) and damages Ukraine," the publication says.
