A woman died in a landslide in Dagestan.
A woman was killed in a landslide in the village of Kirki in the Kaitagsky district of Dagestan. This was announced on April 5 by the head of the municipality, Zapir Hasanov.
"Today, a tragedy occurred in the village of Kirki: a local resident died as a result of a landslide," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
Hasanov stressed that the district administration will provide the family of the deceased with all necessary support measures.
On April 2, Khairudin, a resident of the flooded village of Adilotar in the Khasavyurt district of Dagestan, told about the rescue of his family at the time of the incident. According to him, they managed to take only documents with them. It is now dangerous to stay in the house where Khairudin lived with his family. He also noted that, in addition to property, the family also lost their animals.
As a result of the heavy rains that hit the Republic of Dagestan, hundreds of cars, apartments and private houses were flooded. According to local resident Tazhudin Akhmedov, a "global flood" is taking place in Dagestan, which neither manholes nor already filled drainage systems can cope with.
