A foreigner is suspected of sabotage on the Turkish Stream gas pipeline in Serbia. This was announced on April 5 by the director of the republic's military counterintelligence.
On the same day, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic informed Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban about the discovery of explosives at a gas pipeline from Serbia to Hungary. The President stressed that he had informed Orban of the first results of the investigation by the military and police authorities and promised to inform the Hungarian side about the further progress of the investigation. The Chairman of the Hungarian government, in turn, called an extraordinary meeting of the Defense Council in connection with explosives found on the gas infrastructure.
