A criminal case has been opened in Dagestan over the collapse of a three-storey residential building in Makhachkala. This was reported on April 5 in the press service of the prosecutor's office of the region.

"The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Dagestan has put under control the progress of the investigation of the criminal case initiated under Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Negligence")," the agency said in a Telegram message.
