The red lines on the issue of strikes on nuclear infrastructure are gradually shifting, which is a matter of serious concern. This was stated by the head of the Rosatom State Corporation Alexey Likhachev.

"Yes, the red lines are shifting, and this is becoming some kind of norm," he told Vesti news agency journalist Pavel Zarubin.

As examples, he cited attacks on the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant and adjacent territories, as well as on the Iranian Bushehr nuclear power plant. According to Likhachev, what is happening indicates that previously unacceptable scenarios are beginning to be perceived as commonplace.

He stressed that such changes in approaches to the safety of nuclear facilities are seriously alarming. According to him, this can also lead to negative consequences in the future.
