American Epic Games has registered the Sunflower sign in Russia

The American video game and software developer Epic Games has officially registered the new Sunflower trademark in Russia. The relevant information appeared on April 5 in the electronic database of Rospatent.

The application for brand registration was submitted back in December 2020, and in April of this year, the agency issued a positive decision. The certificate obtained allows the company to produce and sell software, video games, and various animated products on the Russian market.

Epic Games, founded in 1991, is one of the key players in the global gaming industry. The studio became widely known for creating projects such as Fortnite, Gears of War, Unreal Tournament and Infinity Blade.

On March 28, Apple filed an application for registration of a new trademark in Russia. It is indicated that the application was submitted in March 2026. In January, it was reported that Apple had also registered its trademark of the same name in Russia. At the same time, in 2025, the corporation registered only one trademark in Russia — Center Stage — in November 2024.
