US special forces rescued the second crew member of the downed F-15 in Iran

US special forces were able to track down and rescue the second crew member of an American F-15 fighter jet shot down earlier over the territory of Iran. This was reported on April 5 by the Axios portal.

"A crew member, a weapons systems officer, was injured after ejecting from the plane on Friday, but was still able to walk and hid from pursuit in the mountains for more than a day," the publication says.
