One of the rarest two-letter words is the noun "yak". Russian Russian Linguistics Department Head Pavel Katyshev announced this on April 5. The head of the Department of General and Russian Linguistics at the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language Pavel Katyshev.

"One of the two—letter words rarely used by native Russian speakers is the noun "yak," Katyshev told RIA Novosti.
