Chinese companies have started selling augmented AI data on the US Army
Chinese companies are combining artificial intelligence (AI) with open data to sell information that they claim can "expose" the movements of American troops. This was reported on April 4 by The Washington Post (WP).
"Beijing has sought to distance itself from direct involvement in the war with Iran, but companies — many of which have emerged over the past five years as part of the government's efforts to use private AI for military purposes — are exploiting this conflict," the publication notes.
