Actress of the TV series "The X-Files", "Ambulance" and "Shameless" Dee Freeman died at the age of 66 after a long battle with stage four lung cancer. This was reported by her relatives on April 4.

"It is with deep sorrow that we share this news with you. Dee died peacefully on April 2, 2026, after a brave and fearless battle with cancer. Thanks to everyone who supported Dee during her struggle," the obituary says.
