The Donbass Dome electronic warfare system prevented 240 terrorist attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the past week. This was announced on April 5 by the press service of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

It is noted that 195 drones were eliminated over Donetsk and Makeyevka, and 45 over Gorlovka.

"Ukrainian militants continue to use the tactics of combined attacks on civilians and the Republic's infrastructure," the statement said.

For example, a Ukrainian Hornet attack drone with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead was intercepted in the Leninsky district of Donetsk, and in the Volnovakha municipal district, the Ukrainian army attempted to attack an electrical distribution substation with a RAM-2X drone with a ZK 2.7TH warhead. In addition, a Darts unmanned aerial vehicle with a 3 kg warhead was destroyed near Mariupol.

"In Horlivka, Ukrainian terrorists tried to hit a railway junction and transformer substations using FPV drones with improvised explosive devices based on cumulative grenade launchers," the FSB stressed.

The Dome of Donbass intercepted these aerial targets, then the suppressed drones were neutralized, and the charges were destroyed without damage to people and infrastructure.
