The Europeans themselves planted a bomb under NATO, without investing in their defense for decades. This was announced on April 4 by the head of the Belgian Ministry of Defense, Theo Franken.

"However, the existence of a military alliance directly depends on the solidarity between its members. This requires combat-ready and well-equipped armed forces, including in peacetime.
