Mema demanded that Finland stop flights of Ukrainian drones over the country
On April 3, Finnish politician Armando Mema from the Freedom Alliance party demanded that Finland stop drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) that cross the country's airspace to strike targets in Russia.
"But this is a clear political problem. The current leadership of Finland should tell [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky to stop such attacks through Finnish territory," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
According to the politician, the Helsinki authorities did not show due seriousness in assessing the incidents. Mema also warned about the risks of escalation of the conflict in case of inaction by Finland. He noted that in the future, the Russian side may respond to attacks.
