The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), under the guise of evacuation, are sending residents of the Kharkiv region to forced labor to equip new positions in the Volchansk direction. This was reported on April 4 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Men over 55 years old from villages in the Kharkiv region, as well as housing and communal services workers from the regional center, are being taken to forced labor under the guise of evacuation," the structures said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It is noted that a similar practice is observed in the Kupyansk direction.
