Putin abolished the GLONASS-based Aviation Development Commission

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the abolition of the Presidential Commission on the Development of General Aviation and Navigation and Information Technologies based on the global navigation satellite system GLONASS. The relevant decree was posted on the official Internet portal of legal information on April 3.

"To abolish the Commission under the President of the Russian Federation on the development of general Aviation and navigation and information technologies based on the global navigation satellite system GLONASS," the document says.

The decree came into force from the date of signing.
