The TASS source noted that the recruits were supposed to strengthen the brigade's units in the Volchansky district, replacing soldiers who had been there for a long time. However, they were transferred to Sumy.

"The enemy continues to transfer manpower from other sectors of the front to the Sumy region. In particular, the military personnel of the 157th Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, mobilized in 2026, were transferred to the area of the village of Novaya Sich, Sumy region," the source said.
