Apple does not intend to release the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max phones in black. This was reported on April 2 by MacRumors, citing an Instant Digital insider.

"Last year, for the first time, Apple's premium iPhones were not available in either black or dark gray, but those hoping for a return of black this year for the iPhone 18 Pro should look down now. <...> Apple will not offer its next-generation premium models in black."— it is said in the publication .

It is noted that the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max with a rich red coating are currently being tested. In addition, the "traditional" shades of iPhones will remain. At the same time, the company plans not to introduce "funny" colors, but to stick to the usual shades.

The iPhone 18 Pro and the first folding iPhone are expected to be released in the fall of 2026.
