Bild reported the evacuation of 500 people after an explosion on a train in Germany

A large-scale police operation is underway at a train station in the western German city of Siegburg after an explosion on a train. 500 passengers were evacuated due to the threat of an attack by a man with a knife. This was reported by the Bild newspaper on April 2.

"There was an explosion in car 23, after which smoke appeared. <...> The object turned out to be an airsoft grenade, which was thrown out of the train toilet into the aisle. <...> 500 passengers were evacuated," the publication says.
