Russia has named criteria for evaluating behavior in schools
Grades for behavior in Russian schools will be based on criteria such as punctuality and the ability to follow rules, respect for other students, polite communication with adults, an active lifestyle and lawful behavior. This was announced on April 3 by Marina Koneva, an expert at the Ministry of Education of Russia, chief specialist at the Institute for the Study of Childhood, Family and Upbringing.
According to her, the assessment of students' behavior will be conducted collectively.
"Assessing a child's behavior in order to avoid subjectivism involves the collegial work of classroom teachers and subject teachers, including teachers of psychology, teachers of defectology, and social educators," the expert said in an interview with RIA Novosti journalists.
