The effect of the "ceiling" when calculating pension points involves calculating the maximum number of pension coefficients, it is achieved with a salary of 200 thousand rubles or more. Alexander Safonov, a professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, told about this on April 3.

"With a salary of 200 thousand rubles or more per month, the maximum PKI (individual pension coefficient) is reached — 10 points per year. In this regard, further salary increases do not increase pension savings," he said in an interview with TASS.
