On April 9, an exhibition by Pavel Volkov, a documentary photographer from Izvestia, dedicated to the North Pole, will open at the V.A. Rusanov House Museum.

In 2022, the Izvestia photographer went on an expedition to the North Pole on the icebreaker 50 Years of Victory. During the two weeks of the trip, he managed to capture unique images of the Arctic — from harsh icy landscapes to rare inhabitants of the Far North in their natural environment. The exhibition combines the best images taken on the way to the North Pole, and will convey the atmosphere of one of the most inaccessible corners of the planet.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on April 9 at 15:00 at the address: Orel, Rusanova str., 43.
