Actor and director Sergei Bystritsky will be buried in Zelenograd at the Alabushevsky cemetery. This was announced on April 2 by the actor's family.

"We have decided on the burial place — it will be the Alabushevsky cemetery in Zelenograd," the director's relatives said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

At the same time, the farewell ceremony for Bystritsky will be held on April 4 in a closed format only for the family and friends of the director.

Bystritsky's death at the age of 62 was reported the day before. Earlier that day, members of his family reported that the cause of his death was cancer, which was discovered late in the actor's life.

During his career, he starred in more than 40 projects, including "From the Life of Fyodor Kuzkin," "The Hunt for the Unicorn," "Daniel — Prince Galitsky," and "The Witches' Dungeon."
