Representatives of Moscow and Washington are conducting independent interstate processes, which will continue. This was announced on April 2 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"We have our own independent processes in bilateral Russian-American relations. We will continue them," he said.
The United States, he added, being mediators in the process of resolving the conflict in Ukraine, is currently busy with the situation in Iran.
