Sheremetyevo Airport began receiving and dispatching aircraft by agreement due to the introduction of temporary restrictions on the use of airspace in its area. This was announced on Thursday, April 2, by the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
"Sheremetyevo Airport accepts and dispatches flights in coordination with the relevant authorities in connection with the introduction of temporary restrictions on the use of airspace in the aviagavan area," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.
It also emphasizes that due to the measures taken to ensure the safety of air transportation, adjustments to the flight schedule are possible.
On the same day, the Federal Air Transport Agency announced the introduction of temporary flight restrictions at Kazan Airport. After a while, these measures introduced to ensure flight safety were lifted.
