The United States has deployed a new EA-37B electronic warfare aircraft to Iran.
The US Armed Forces have deployed the latest EA-37B electronic warfare aircraft during a military operation against Iran. This was announced on April 2 by the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM).
In addition to the latest EA-37B, B-1, B-2 Stealth and B-52 strategic bombers, as well as fifth-generation F-22 and F-35 fighters, are operating in the skies over Iran, CENTCOM said.
To date, the US military has reported hitting more than 12.3 thousand targets. A large-scale aviation group is involved in the operation, which has carried out over 13 thousand combat sorties.
"CENTCOM is striking targets in order to dismantle the security apparatus of the Iranian regime, giving priority to places that pose an immediate threat," a message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
They added that losses on the Iranian side were recorded at sea: more than 155 ships were damaged or destroyed. The US naval group includes nuclear aircraft carriers, submarines and guided missile destroyers.
On April 1, US President Donald Trump announced in an address to the nation that he would step up attacks on Iran in the next two to three weeks. According to him, during these weeks it is planned to fulfill all the military tasks that the United States sets for itself.
