The Leningrad Region's Economic Watchdog has denied reports of an oil spill in the Gulf of Finland.

Earlier reports about an alleged oil spill from terminals in Ust-Luga in the Gulf of Finland are not true. This was announced on April 1 by the Committee of Economic Supervision of the Leningrad region in the Telegram channel.

"There has been no oil spill into the waters of the Gulf of Finland from the oil loading terminals in Ust-Luga, and there are no leaks," the statement said.
