The Russian side is grateful to the Azerbaijani authorities for their assistance in transferring humanitarian aid to Iran. This was announced on April 1 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"We are grateful to the Azerbaijani authorities for their assistance," Zakharova said at a briefing.

According to her, on March 27, trucks delivered another batch of aid to Iran — about 150 tons of food and basic necessities collected by residents and charitable organizations of Dagestan.
