The President of Poland made a mistake in the name of the country in English
Polish President Karol Nawrocki made a mistake when writing the name of his native country in English. This was announced on March 31 by the Internet portal onet.pl .
The incident occurred during the Polish leader's visit to the United States, where he visited the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics plant, which produces fifth-generation F-35 fighters. While inspecting a car designed for the Polish Air Force, Nawrocki wrote with a marker on one of the aircraft's parts in English: "The F-35 [will be] in Poland in June."
At the same time, he wrote the English name of the country "Poland" as "Polend". This gave the subscribers of the portal reason to doubt how well the head of state speaks English.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK, Valery Zaluzhny, demonstrated a low level of English proficiency during a speech at the Chatham House forum (recognized in the Russian Federation as an undesirable organization at the Royal Institute of International Relations. The footage shows that during his speech, the diplomat repeatedly lost his way, read the text from the sheet syllabically and made many mistakes.
