The St. Petersburg City Court on Wednesday declared lawful the decision on the arrest in absentia of rapper Miron Fedorov (included by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in the register of foreign agents), known under the pseudonym Oxxxymiron. This was announced on April 1 by the joint press service of the city courts.

In their complaint, Fedorov's lawyers insisted on choosing a milder measure of restraint. The defense argued that the accused had left Russia for personal reasons even before the criminal case was initiated and had no intention of hiding from the investigation.

The lawyers also pointed out that the consideration of the petition without the participation of Fedorov himself violated his legitimate rights. The musician is accused of violating the rules of a foreign agent.

"The St. Petersburg City Court upheld the decision of the Smolninsky District Court," the Telegram channel said in a statement.

On March 28, rapper Oxxxymiron was put on the wanted list in Russia for the second time. It is specified that on March 24, the St. Petersburg Magistrate's court sentenced the musician in absentia in the case of evading the duties of a foreign agent, assigning 320 hours of compulsory labor.

On October 17, 2025, the court of the city of St. Petersburg fined Oxxxymiron 120 thousand rubles under the article on violation of the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent. It was clarified that he had not submitted reports on his activities for 2024 and 2025 to the authorized body.

On March 20, the prosecutor's office requested 400 hours of correctional labor for rapper Oxxxymiron in the case of violating the law on foreign agents. In addition, the prosecutor's office wanted to ban the musician from publishing materials on social networks for three years.
