The wealth of Russia's richest entrepreneurs has increased by $7.666 billion since the beginning of this year. This was confirmed on April 1 by data from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI) rating agency.

It is noted that the total wealth of Russian billionaires is $298.97 billion. At the same time, the BBI rating includes 20 Russian citizens. The index itself is calculated based on the share prices of companies in which the country's leaders own shares.

Elon Musk, an American entrepreneur and owner of Tesla and SpaceX, continues to occupy the first place in the list of the richest people in the world, whose fortune has increased by $ 24.2 billion since the beginning of the year and reached $644 billion.

While Google co-founder Larry Page is in second place, his fortune has decreased by $21.9 billion. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, whose fortune decreased by $23.3 billion, rose to the third position.

In February, it was also noted that the wealth of Russia's richest businessmen increased by $19.392 billion in January this year. Thus, Vladimir Potanin, president of Norilsk Nickel, has earned $3.46 billion since the beginning of the year, which has increased his fortune to $29.9 billion. In turn, the fortune of Andrey Melnichenko, co-founder of Eurochem and SUEK, increased by $2.83 billion, reaching $21.8 billion.
