The Moscow Zoo has prepared a program for the International Day of Birds

"So, from April 1 to April 5, the Moscow Zoo will host the Bird Week quest from 09:00 to 20:00. Participants will be offered a route with riddles about the zoo's birds. The results of the quest will be published on April 8 on the zoo's social media pages, and the winners will be invited to a special program that will take place on April 11. Admission is by ticket to the zoo," the organizers said.

Interactive quests will also be available for visitors from April 1 to April 3. During the events starting at 14:00, participants will be able to learn more about the animals inhabiting the zoo by completing tasks and answering questions. You can get to the program by pre-registration and a ticket to the zoo.

The Bird House Pavilion will also host a master class of the Robin Penguin Workshop creative space on April 2, 3 and 4 from 12:00 to 14:00. Participants will have the opportunity to make souvenirs in the form of birds with their own hands from ecological materials.

Events are also expected at the State Darwin Museum and the Biocluster.

"On April 4, from 10:30 to 16:00, the Darwin Museum will host the "Who sings?" class, where everyone will try to identify the voices of birds. A ticket to the museum is required to participate," the publication says.

On the same day and time, you can choose and attend an alternative lesson on "How to make a bird house properly." During the program, participants will be told the features and secrets of making such a product.

"On April 11, at 14:30, a master class will be held at the Biocluster on the site of Pavilion No. 28 "Beekeeping" together with the "Urban Farm" at VDNH. Participants will be able to make figurines of a starling and a birdhouse in the technique of application. Admission is by ticket to the pavilion," the article says.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced on March 30 that this year the Moscow Zoo will open aviary complexes for panda Katyusha and golden snub-nosed monkeys. The renovated Sunny Bears aviary for rare Malay bears was also opened. The Moscow Zoo's Bird Restoration and Adaptation Center has started operating in Sokolniki Park on the site of the old ornitharium.
