56 states are working against Russia in Ukraine, Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Alexander Venediktov said on April 1 during a briefing at the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Our meeting is taking place against the backdrop of increasing geopolitical instability. The entire range of challenges and threats to international security has escalated, the international legal system has been undermined, and strategic stability has been disrupted. Fighting continues in Ukraine, where 56 Western countries are acting in a coordinated manner against Russia," TASS quoted him as saying.
