According to Sport-Express, the 40-year-old Russian has reached the mark of 927 goals in 1566 matches in the regular NHL championships, thereby improving his own record. Taking into account the playoffs, Ovechkin has 1004 goals — the hockey player ranks second, behind Canadian Wayne Gretzky.
