Bastrykin named the names of the three involved in the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Khorl on New Year's Eve

In Russia, the involvement of three commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the attack on a restaurant in Khorly in the Kherson region on New Year's Eve was established. Their names were announced on March 31 by Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF).

"During the investigation of the terrorist attack, it was established that the military unit that carried out an airstrike on a civilian facility using three unmanned aerial vehicles was commanded by Colonel of the Ukrainian armed forces Andrei Dzyaniy (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring. — Ed.). He is subordinate to Robert Brovdi, Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces (listed as a terrorist and extremist by Rosfinmonitoring. — Ed.). Employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which at the time of the crime was headed by Kirill Budanov (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring), were also involved in the organization of the crime. — Ed.)," Bastrykin said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

He added that these AFU commanders were charged in absentia with committing a terrorist act.

New Year's Eve strike: 24 people died in Kherson region after UAV attack

Another 50 people were injured, 6 of them are in serious condition.

On January 15, the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, announced that 16 women, six men and two children were killed as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the village of Khorly in the Kherson region. According to him, the process of identifying the bodies and identifying the victims is currently underway.

On January 1, Saldo told about the strike of three UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a cafe and a hotel in the village of Khorly, Kalanchak municipal district. A criminal case on the terrorist attack was opened on the fact of the incident. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation also reported that the number of victims of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on the cafe and hotel had increased to 29 people. At least 60 people were injured in the attack. Also on January 5, Baldo said that after the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson region, security measures would be strengthened.
