Two Russian-made Changan models have been certified
The Russian-made Changan CS35 Max and CS75 Plus crossovers have been certified and received Vehicle Type Approval, Izvestia found out on March 31.
According to information from the certification documents, the Kaliningrad Avtotor-Avtotrans is the site for the production of both models. The start date of the validity period of the OTS, which is required for the start of mass sales of cars in Russia, is April 1, 2026.

Representatives of the brand told Izvestia on March 11 that the production of the Changan CS35 Max crossover could be launched in Russia. The model is certified with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 147 hp (280 Nm) combined with a seven-speed "robot", front-wheel drive. The length of the car is 4540 mm, the wheelbase is 2715 mm. Sales of the CS35 Max in Russia started in February. The price varies from 2.6 million to 2.79 million rubles, depending on the configuration, the model is presented in three levels of equipment.
The larger fourth-generation Changan CS75 Plus (4770 mm in length), which entered the market last year, is certified with both 1.5 front-engine (180 hp) and 2.0 all-wheel drive (226 hp and 235 hp). At the same time, the model is now offered for purchase. only with an all-wheel drive system and a two-liter internal combustion engine.
Earlier, on March 27, Changan announced the launch of sales of the Deepal G318 hybrid crossover in Russia. The novelty is available in two trim levels priced from 5.65 million and 6 million rubles.
