TFR began checking after poisoning people in a cafe in Krasnoyarsk

Investigative authorities are conducting a check after reports of poisoning of visitors to a cafe in Krasnoyarsk. It is known about the hospitalization of a woman and a child who sought medical help after visiting a cafe.

KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, with reference to the GSU TFR for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia, clarifies that information about several people who were poisoned after visiting a catering point appeared on social networks.

The inspection is carried out for the provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers. All the victims are being identified, and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.

At the end of February, it was reported that the owner of a cafe located in Kungur, Perm Krai, in which 87 visitors were poisoned, was sentenced to a fine of more than 800 thousand rubles. The victims were diagnosed with salmonellosis. Later, the bacterium that provokes this disease was found in chicken meat used in cafes.
