The first stage of reconstruction of the Rudnevsky Bridge has started in Vladivostok

Reconstruction of the Rudnevsky Bridge has begun in Vladivostok. The large-scale infrastructure project is being implemented with the support of Governor Oleg Kozhemyako, as well as the federal and regional budgets.

The first stage of the project started on March 31 with the demolition of unauthorized facilities in the area of future reconstruction. IA PrimaMedia, referring to the press service of the Mayor's office, writes that experts have identified more than 30 self-builders. The owners were given time to dismantle it themselves.

The list of objects for withdrawal is already ready, their market value will be determined later and the procedure for repurchase from the owners will be carried out, said Dmitry Dolgyi, head of the city's roads department. The exclusion zone includes industrial buildings and adjacent land. There are no plans to seize residential buildings.

After the preparatory work is completed, the search for a contractor for the construction of the bridge will begin. A modern transport artery with four lanes, entrances and sidewalks will appear on the site of the old structure.

The agency writes that in March, local residents staged an unusual action, trying to attract public attention. They tried to cover the cracks in the expansion joints with sandbags and instant noodles. After that, the city authorities restored the asphalt pavement in the problem areas and decided to reconstruct the bridge structure. The owner of the bridge was brought to administrative responsibility.

In December 2024, Glavgosexpertiza issued a positive opinion on the bridge construction project. It was specified that the new bridge will be built within three years. Half of the infrastructure loan in the amount of 10 billion rubles, which was recently approved by the city, will be used for this purpose.

Earlier, on March 21, it was reported that a new Ferris wheel was being assembled in the Minny Gorodok Park in Vladivostok. The height of the new Ferris wheel will be 55 m, which will make it the tallest in the region. Specialists are currently installing the first level of supports. The wheel's design will be based on six powerful load-bearing elements, which will form its basis.
