Two more criminal cases have been opened in Moscow on the fact of embezzlement during the construction of villas.

Moscow investigators have opened two more criminal cases into embezzlement during the construction of villas on the island of Bali. This is stated in the documents that appeared at the disposal of Izvestia on March 31.

It is specified that the two victims entrusted the money to representatives of an Indonesian company, having signed a contract for the construction of a villa. The obligations were not fulfilled, and the attackers disposed of the stolen money at their discretion. The amount of damage amounted to 10.6 million rubles and 3.7 million rubles, respectively.

The first criminal case on embezzlement during the construction of real estate in Bali was initiated on February 13. Lawyer Alexander Zorin confirmed to Izvestia that it was about one of the villas advertised by blogger Alexander Domogatsky.

In early February, the Arbitration Court of the Moscow region introduced bankruptcy proceedings against Domogatsky, suspected of fraud with the sale of villas on the island of Bali. Before that, on January 24, it became known that the court had recovered 49 million rubles from the blogger in favor of the bankrupt company.

In November last year, Zorin reported that they were trying to declare the blogger bankrupt in the Arbitration Court of the Moscow region. At least 36 lawsuits have been filed against Domogatsky. At the same time, about 30 victims sought to bring the blogger to justice in Bali. Among them are not only citizens of Russia, but also of Ukraine, France, the USA, Belarus and the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
