In 10 rivers of Russia, water may rise to a critical level. This was announced on March 31 by Marina Makarova, a leading employee of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.

"In the next three days, the water level is expected to reach a dangerous level with the possibility of exceeding it on such rivers as Protva — near the town of Vereya, on the Katysh River — near the village of Troitskoye and on the Nerskaya River — near the town of Kurovsky. Flooding of the floodplain is possible on the rivers Severka, Pakhra, Nerskaya and Katysh," Makarova said in an interview with TASS.

She added that within three days, the water may rise to dangerous levels near the Ozerna, Nara, Lusyanka, Istra and Oka rivers.
