Several residents of the Pskov region lost more than 2 million rubles due to fraudsters. Criminal cases have been initiated.

According to the Pskov news feed, scammers deceived residents of Velikiye Luki, Pytalovo and Kuninsky municipal districts. The scammers used various deception schemes. In particular, during a telephone conversation, they introduced themselves as bank employees and offered the victims to transfer money to "secure" accounts.

In the Tula region, a 78-year-old pensioner lost more than 3 million rubles due to fraudsters. The scammers convinced the woman that she should declare the funds "to prevent their blocking."
