A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Russian military personnel continue their successful offensive in various directions. The units of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defenses and, as a result of active actions, liberated the Lugovskoye settlement of the Zaporizhia region. The formations of the assault, three airborne assault brigades, five assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade were defeated. The enemy lost more than 275 soldiers, two armored combat vehicles and seven vehicles.

"As a result of decisive actions, units of the Zapad group of forces liberated the settlement of Novoosinovo in the Kharkiv region. The manpower and equipment of four mechanized, airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two air defense brigades were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Blagodatovka, Sinichino, Borovaya, Kharkiv region, Krasny Liman, Stary Karavyan and Shchurovo, Donetsk People's Republic. The enemy's losses amounted to 190 military personnel, two armored combat vehicles, 24 vehicles and three artillery pieces," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The "southern" group of troops has taken more advantageous positions and frontiers. Formations of three mechanized, motorized infantry, assault, and airmobile brigades, a separate center for special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and a defense brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Alekseevo-Druzhkovka, Konstantinovka, Nikonorovka, Malaya Piskunovka, Krestishche, and Kramatorsk of the Donetsk People's Republic. The enemy lost up to 155 soldiers, three armored combat vehicles, 14 vehicles and six artillery pieces.

The units of the Center group of forces have improved their position along the front line. The manpower and equipment of four mechanized, infantry brigades, an assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade and three air defense brigades were defeated. The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to over 415 soldiers, a tank, five armored combat vehicles and 17 vehicles.

The Russian army, with the help of aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles and artillery, defeated aviation equipment at military airfields, energy infrastructure facilities of Ukraine used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, launch sites for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 162 areas. Air defense systems shot down five guided aerial bombs, three guided long-range Neptune missiles and 312 aircraft-type drones.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 671 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 129,405 unmanned aerial vehicles, 652 anti-aircraft missile systems, 28,579 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,694 multiple rocket launchers, 34,169 field artillery guns and mortars, 58,176 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
