Russian troops are preventing attempts by Ukrainian militants to create a threat in some sectors of the front in the Kherson region. This was announced on March 30 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

"He (the enemy — Ed.) continues to probe the situation, conducts reconnaissance, uses drones. Our military is working very competently in these conditions. The fighters of the Dnepr group of forces are keeping the situation under control," RIA Novosti quoted Baldo as saying.

According to the governor, Russian fighters reveal the activity of the Ukrainian forces in a timely manner, disrupt their plans, destroy equipment, control points and drone calculations. Saldo stressed that this is a difficult daily job that requires endurance, precision and high professionalism, and the Russian fighters cope with it with dignity.
